The details for the Specific Health Checkup conducted by Ageo City National Health Insurance for the fiscal year 2025 are as follows:
Target:
People aged 40 to 74 who are enrolled in Ageo City National Health Insurance.
- This includes individuals who will turn 40 in the fiscal year 2025.
- People aged 75 and older are eligible for health checkups under the Late-stage Elderly Medical Care System.
Examination Period:
Specific Health Checkup: May 1, 2025 to October 31, 2025
Comprehensive Medical Examination (Subsidy):
[Designated medical institutions] May 1, 2025to February 28, 2026
[Non-designated medical institutions] April 1, 2025 to March 31, 2026
- Those who are not eligible under the Ageo City National Health Insurance at the time of examination cannot receive the checkup. If you receive the checkup, you will be required to reimburse the cost.
- You cannot receive specific health checkups more than once in the same fiscal year or receive both the specific health checkup and a comprehensive medical checkup. If you do so, you will be required to reimburse the cost.

STEP01. Application
Select a medical institution from this website or others, and make an application by phone.

STEP02. Take the Checkups
On the day of your appointment, please bring the items listed below and take the checkup at the medical institution.

STEP03. Receive Result
Later, you will receive an explanation of the checkup results from a doctor at the medical institution where you had the examination. Alternatively, the results will be mailed to your home.

- You can receive either the specific health checkup or the comprehensive medical examination subsidy once per fiscal year.
- To receive the comprehensive medical examination fee subsidy, you must apply before the examination.(Limited to designated medical institutions)

Co-payment (Up to 20,000 yen of the examination fee will be subsidized. The co-payment is the examination fee minus the subsidy amount.)

Please refer to the list of examination institutions (about 60 locations) included in the pamphlet enclosed with your specific health checkup voucher. Examination institutions tend to be busy in October. Please have your checkup as early as possible.
